Len Symes

CEO
Father of two bilingual
children aged 3 and 6.
A native English speaker, Len is
trained to teach English as a Second
Language and speaks German and
Spanish. He has lived and worked in
UK, Australia, USA, EU and the
Middle East.
Len oversees business development
and the development of the
BigLittleOaks curriculum in relation
to international markets.
Before moving into education, Len
worked in IT as a consultant
specialising in Business
Applications. He is an Economics and
Social Science graduate in addition
to holding a post-graduate
qualification in computing. |

Gaby Papaczek
Designation / Position in
BigLittleOaks:
Regional Manager - Europe
Mother of two bilingual children
aged 3 and 6.
A native German speaker who has
lived and worked in the UK for 2
years, Gaby speaks fluent English
and together with Len Symes has
developed the specialised curriculum
that BigLittleOaks offers.
Gaby oversees the continued
development of the curriculum as
well as other technical aspects of
the teaching and learning at
regional Big Little Oaks centres.
Gaby is a Financial Accountant by
training – having worked in this
capacity in a multilingual
environment both in the UK and
Germany. |

Joyce Symes
Designation / Position in
BigLittleOaks:
Regional Manager AsiaPacific
Mother of two bilingual children
aged 4 and 17.
Joyce is a native English and
Chinese speaker and mother of two
bilingual children aged 4 and 17.
Both kids speak English, Mandarin
and Bahasa Malay fluently.
Apart from contributing to the
development of the
BigLittleOaks curriculum, Joyce heads our Asia
Pacific operations and is
responsible for business development
and training for the region.
Joyce’s experience in the corporate
world comes from her 20 years in
Financial Accounting. |
